As Your love in wave after wave
Crashes over me, crashes over me
For You are for us, You are not against us
Champion of Heaven, You made a way for all to enter in

The Apostles’ Creed is one of the most extraordinary statements in history; one of the most unifying statements of Christian belief. It centres around the core beliefs that have united the Church for centuries, and is a great part of many corporate worship services around the world.
With this in mind, John Dixon, Director of the Centre for Public Christianity, tweeted a brief request on January 4th, 2014:
At the cross, at the cross
I surrender my life
I’m in awe of You, I’m in awe of You
Where Your love ran red
and my sin washed white
I owe all to You, I owe all to You
Our worship team worked through this song at band rehearsal last night.
I must admit I’m a little ‘Tomlin-ed’ out, but hey if I’m not writing any songs, who am I to talk?
It is a great song though.
Easy to sing, and basic to play.
Feel free to grab the mp3, the music sheet and chords.
We’ll definitely be doing this song at our Easter meeting.
Vertical Church Band hail from Harvest Bible Chapel in Chicago and their new album is being released on 29 October!

Christ Is Enough by Hillsong is on their latest album, Glorious Ruins. It is a song of devotion that celebrates Christ’s sufficiency for our lives.
Often we fill our lives with busyness and surround ourselves with things that meet our own needs. But ultimately, as believers, we have to separate ourselves from those things and make sure we keep Christ at the center. We should find ourselves in a place where no matter what is taken away or given to us, Christ is our goal and is more than enough. That’s when we really come alive.
Not only is Christ sufficient, our sustainer, and our healer, but He is our Redeemer. The sacrifice of Himself, given for our sin, was enough to cover our sin, give us hope, and to reconcile us to God. This song can help focus your church on the death and resurrection of Christ and gives them an opportunity to respond by declaring that Christ is enough.
Christ is enough for me
Christ is enough for me
Everything I need is in You
Everything I need

Good morning South Africa!
So last night at band rehearsal we worked through “Waiting here for You” and it was so rad. Love the song!
I like the way it starts off pretty gently, builds at the bridge then pumps full blast in the last chorus.
Such a great song to lead!
If you’re keen to lead it, grab the music sheets here and watch these super helpful tutorial videos.
